Here are our most frequently asked questions about our moving storage containers.

It really depends on the amount of stuff you have to store away. Our smaller unit (7′ x 8′ x 16′) is a great solution that’s perfect for most people’s storage needs. It can fit side by side on a driveway, fits in parking spaces and is street legal. We offer a larger unit (8′ x 8′ x 16′) if you need the extra square footage for storage.

Rapid Response holds itself to the highest standards of cleanliness. Our containers are thoroughly cleaned inside and out before and after every job. We sanitize each container when they come into the warehouse and again when they go out. At the moment, our drivers have a no contact policy and must stay 6 feet away from public. Every driver wears a mask and gloves, and have sanitizing wipes as well as hand sanitizer in the truck with them at all times.

By renting a container, you agree that the container will not be used for any unlawful purposes and will keep the container in good condition during the term of your agreement. Further, you shall not store any improperly packaged food or perishable goods, flammable materials, nor perform any work in the container. Hazardous or toxic chemical, gas, liquid, substance, material or waste that is or becomes regulated under any applicable local, state or federal law or regulation are not to be stored in the container. You acknowledge that the container may be used for storage only, and that the use of the container for the conduct of business or for human or animal habitation is specifically prohibited.

Yes! However, we ask that you drain any water appliances and store everything upright.

Delivery, Pick-up empty, and other relocation fees are based on mileage from the warehouse in Riverside, CA. You agree to pay the company the first month’s rent, delivery fee, pick-up-empty fee & any other relocation fees, and the monthly rental amount during the term of each container usage. Monthly installments are payable in advance on or before the due date. The rent is monthly and NOT prorated.

Rapid Response offers a ZERO deductible protection plan exclusively for the container, from any source of damage while in the care of the renter. This is in addition to any other insurance coverages or deductibles. The cost on this protection is $10.00 per month and is optional.

Items may shift during transport. To prevent that from happening, we recommend packing heavier items on the floor, then filling the top with lighter pieces. This will minimize shifting and any damage that may occur to more fragile items. You assume full responsibility for packing and unpacking the container and it is your sole and exclusive responsibility to ensure that the contents in the container are properly secured for storage and/or transport of the container. Rapid Response will not be liable for contents. If the container will be moved we will provide e-straps and our friendly staff will show you how to use them.

We suggest packing heavy items at the bottom of your unit, then keep the weight evenly distributed throughout.

We are open Monday through Saturday, from 7AM to 5PM. We are closed on Sundays. Delivery and pickup times are based on availability (typically within 24-48 hours).

We do not insure customer belongings as we do not have access to the contents. We strongly advise you to have coverage on your belongings. You agree, that in no event shall the total value of all property stored in the container be deemed to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).

We accept most credit cards.

We drop off your Rapid Response portable storage container on your scheduled date. If requested, the driver will call you with an estimated time of arrival with your container. A Contract must be e-signed before we can drop off container. If you’re unable to e-sign, the driver will bring a contract with them to get your signature.

Yes! Packing and moving supplies are available and will be delivered with your container or for pick-up at our warehouse. Our friendly staff will show you how to use the equipment.
